I am working on behalf of a fantastic forward moving business to source a Customer Release Manager on a permanent basis.


Joining our Service Delivery team, as Customer Release Manager you will be the main touch point for customers across all release pipelines, making recommendations to mitigate any customer impact throughout the deployment of software releases.

Working closely with technical teams and account managers, you will take ownership of any incidents that stem from any releases or changes, ensuring our customers experience a swift and full return to full service availability.


-Work with the technical release management teams to plan the release windows and cycles

across the registry portfolio

-Identify and manage risks for customers and resolves issues that occur as a result

of the release

-Manage customer communications across the release cycle

-Manage customer expectations around release scope, schedule and impact

-Manage internal expectations around customer risk and required deployment. Negotiate, plan

and communicate accordingly.

-Measure and monitor release quality

-Contribute to release content and effort discussions based on the service request backlog,

pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates

-Own incident management process following any unsuccessful release or patch

-Own problem management process to mitigate future incident impacts

-Proactive assessment of service continuity


-You'll be highly customer focussed with a background in service management or release

management and you'll have technical knowledge of API products.

-Proven experience in leading and managing the successful release of complex, highly

performing and high-quality software systems.

-Solid experience and knowledge of all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle

-Understanding of Agile principles and practices.

-Excellent multi-tasking and communication skills.

-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.

-Expert at gathering and communicating metrics.

-Experience in a variety of technical troubleshooting activities, including interrogating

databases with SQL queries, analysing system log files and the ability to interpret

-Extensible Mark-up Language
