Finance Director | Luxury Interiors Business | London

Harmonic are delighted to be working with an award-winning luxury interiors brand in their search for a Finance Director to work alongside the senior members of the leadership team to improve efficiency and grow the business further. Here, finance is seen as an essential part of the smooth running of the business and genuinely has an impact in decision making.

The ideal candidate for this role would have strong technical accounting skills, yet still be very commercially astute in order to work strategically with the senior leadership team in business planning. The responsibilities include a mix of statutory accounts, management accounts, FP&A as well as striving to improve new systems company-wide. While this is the most senior person in finance, you will also have the support of an experienced external CFO and mentor on hand for any ad hoc advice.

Responsibilities:
  • Overall responsible for the finance and accounting function including management accounts and annual audit
  • Overseeing finance, operations, HR and sales teams
  • Working closely with the Founder to advise on business decisions
  • Producing budgets and forecasts and monitoring cash flow
  • Producing FP&A reports for the senior leadership team to support in business planning
  • Analysing project profitability and ensuring that the business is meeting timescales and sticking to budgets
  • Implementation, integration and constant improvement of internal systems
  • Supporting the administration and operations teams on day-to-day finance duties when required


Requirements:
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • At least 2-3 years working in a product business (fashion, food & beverage, retail, furniture, FMCG etc)
  • Strong understanding of stock
  • Good technical accounting skills
  • Excellent FP&A and commercial finance skills
  • Strong communication skills


Salary: £100,000- £120,000 + bonus + options

Start date: ASAP
