Talbots Law are currently going through a rapid and very exciting period of growth, and so we are seeking candidates who are looking to be part of the journey with us.

The Role

Talbots Law are looking for Legal Assistants to join the wider Property department at the firm and provide full support, with guidance, to the Lawyers in the team. This role is suitable for those with minimal experience, although candidates at all levels with be considered. This is a great opportunity to undertake a key role in the department and take the first step in to a career in Residential Property Law.

Key responsibilities include:

· Communicating with clients, agents and third-parties over the telephone and via email - assisting with queries and actioning where appropriate

· Handling post in-line with the firm's policy - collecting, scanning and allocating

· Opening and maintaining files in an accurate and timely manner

· Assisting with compliance checks and searches

· Taking card payments, updating the system and preparing posting slips

The Person

The successful candidate will be passionate about providing an outstanding service to internal and external stakeholders, have excellent communication skills and an understanding of discretion, and a strong attention to detail. We are also keen to see applications from those with a good IT ability and those who are keen to learn and progress.
