A leading industrial and logistics focused European investment management platform is seeking a Senior Investment Manager / Assistant Fund Manager to join their team, based in Central London.

In this autonomous role, reporting to a senior member of the management team and executive committee, you will take on a wide range of responsibilities covering transactions, fund, and asset management duties across several key fund and separate account mandates covering the risk spectrum, including development.

Role responsibilities and duties include:

Asset Management

  • Implementing asset management best practices and processes across Europe
  • Developing tools, budgeting, and reporting templates to ensure consistency across the platform
  • Work with the local teams to ensure execution of asset management business plans including leasing, development, rent reviews, lease renewals etc


  • New acquisitions - Involved in and take overall responsibility for the execution of new acquisitions (asset and fund level)
  • Capex and development projects
  • Working knowledge of acquisition and development appraisals - ability to set up models for deals, including gearing
  • Fund level modelling - input to the fund models


  • Be involved in the wider team discussions regarding all ESG matters - both asset level and corporate


  • Work closely with the London based finance team and external accountants on all fund and asset management accounting matters


  • Liaise with the appointed valuers to ensure they have all up to date information
  • Coordinate updates from local investment and asset management teams such as leasing updates, capex
  • Manage the valuation process from start to finish for internal funds and separate mandates


  • Responsible for producing the investor quarterly asset and fund management reports with input from all local teams
  • Together with the local investment teams prepare the investment memoranda for new acquisitions, asset management deals and debt financing


  • Manage the insurance renewal process from start to finish for various portfolios


  • Liaise with external debt advisers
  • Coordinate with local investment and asset management teams
  • Review Investment Memoranda
  • Consider, propose and implement new initiatives

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience within an investment/fund and or asset management business
  • Familiar with institutional requirements in terms of reporting and set-up
  • Preferably worked on a pan-European portfolio
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills and a "hands-on" attitude
  • Strong excel and Finance modelling skills


  • Basic salary of c. £65,000 - £85,000, dependant on experience, plus benefits, and a competitive annual bonus linked to performance.
