We are recruiting for several Business Analysts to join an established technology client who operate in the smart energy meter market on a contract basis. The role is based in Manchester and will be a hybrid working model mainly from home with travel to the office as required. The successful candidate will be assigned to various programmes, delivering under their Change Delivery Methodology and will work with various internal teams such as Operations, Finance, Regulatory and Legal to name a few.
As a Business Analyst you will define business problems and primary objectives for new projects. You will work with various departments to elicit, analyse and validate requirements through various methods including leading workshops and using visual models to represent requirements. Once the data is captured you will interpret it and develop business cases and perform gap and impact assessments for any potential changes. As the project progresses you will ensure that processes are documented throughout the project lifecycle and that stakeholders are updated throughout.
To be a successful Business Analyst you will have:
Previous experience in a similar role in a highly regulated environment e.g. energy, public sector, banking / finance or utilities
Strong transformation and change knowledge for commercial projects
Prince 2 or similar qualified with a strong understanding of project management methodology
