Are you a dynamic and innovative Project Manager with experience in IT & Business change?

The opportunity

We're looking for an IT focused Project Manager for our client. They are a hugely-successful market leading organisation based in the North East and have started a business change programme. They need someone with proven experience to help successfully deliver projects within their portfolio.

The role

Responsibilities will include budgeting, resource management and activity planning within projects in the portfolio. Where appropriate and specific to projects under your control, manage day to day relationships with third party project resources. You will also have to recommend and implement corrective action in projects by engaging the Portfolio Manager, Project Sponsor and other appropriate key stakeholders.

Who you'll be

Have the ability to Plan, monitor and report on project activities, ensuring effective governance, risk, issues and resource arrangements are in place, supported by effective reporting.
Act as an ambassador for the Transformation Management Team, positively promote effective project management practices throughout the organisation
Lead and inspire project teams to successfully deliver projects in support of project objectives and deliverables aligned to the Project Office, Organisation Strategy, Goals and Vision 2025.
You'll be able to prove you have a track record in delivering measurable business results
You will be reliable, creative, innovative and adaptable to new ways of working and day-to-day challenges.
Above all you will have strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communicational skills
