A varied and career enhancing opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a fast paced, dynamic SME business based on the outskirts of Portsmouth, Hampshire.
Offered on a 12 month fixed term contract basis, this newly created vacancy has arisen due to unprecedented workloads and will be based in a very professional, diverse and experienced team.
What will the role involve?
Investigating variances and gathering financial data in order to produce financial reports;
Liaising with other all levels of staff regarding pricing and margins;
Analysis of financial data and making recommendations on the improvement of current processes;
Ad hoc duties as required by the Financial Controller.
Will possess at least 12-18 months transactional accounts and /or analysis experience;
Will have good Excel skills (pivot tables, look ups etc);
Have strong accounts IT systems experience;
Able to work on own initiative following training.
