Inventor Design Engineer

We're looking for an Inventor Design Engineer to join a small design and engineering company based in Shropshire on a contract basis for around 9 months.

What does the job involve?

· Manage CAD content creation activities to capture all design and engineering specification details.

· Carry out accurate measurement surveys on existing products and components using a variety of metrology techniques to capture geometric and engineering data.

· Creating component and assembly level 3D content using Autodesk inventor.

· Developing and maintaining i-Logic code, to support parametric / intelligent modelling.

· Produce new parametric 3D models in AutoDesk Inventor (with i-logic) and compile specification drawings to BS8888 standard that can be used for specification and quotation.

What skills and experience do you need?

· 5 years' experience using Autodesk Inventor in a design office environment.

· Qualified to ONC/HNC level in CAD or related subject.

· Self-starter who can manage own workload and liaise with other team members to complete projects.
