What will you be doing?
Evaluate, develop, prepare and deliver technical solutions to internal and external customers for small to medium scale M&E projects.
Development and Management of Safety, Quality, Time, Cost and performance outputs of the Project's deliverables (Solution Development, Estimating, Design and Construction Management).
Client liaison and attendance at all project meetings to provide update on progress to target against programme deliverables (delivery, H&S and quality)
Resource planning - assess labour requirements to assist Operations Manager in resource planning
Coordinate all design and construction activity to deliver successful site based installation
Ensure material bill of quantities meet project requirements and materials procured are reconciled to the BOQ in accordance with Company procedures to best value and to prevent delays
Preparation and presentation of costing, budget, risk management and capital sanction information, and submission of developed proposals / tenders;
Provision and Management / leadership of the Project's Design, Engineering and Construction
Input to the monthly Cost Value Reconciliation process (including project financial forecasts) to budget.
What are we looking for?
Qualification / Degree HND in relevant Engineering disciplines ideally Mechanical
Practical experience in engineering associated with steam raising energy generation plant
Familiarity with performance and work based contracts (MF1, NEC3 and Rebook)
Experience and ability to develop, estimate and specify projects
