ABC Teachers are seeking a Youth Worker to work with our secondary schools in Walsall as a Cover Supervisor.
About the role:
The successful Youth Worker will be booked out in advance of any booking but, when this isn't possible you will be offered day-to-day work. The typical hours are between 8:30am- 3:15pm.
Teaching pre-set Key Stage 3/4 students.
No planning, marking or assessing
Managing an average class size in the absence of a teacher.
Flexible accommodating days.

Minimum of 5 days experience working in sole charge of a group of children in the last 10 years.
Able to obtain suitable references and a valid DBS check*
Have strong communication skills with the ability to quickly built a good rapport with students and staff
A passion for working with children, in a calm and authoritative manner
