Amazon is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, technically skilled, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Supply Chain Manager to join the Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) Change Management team and drive innovation within our rapidly growing transportation network. As part of the Change Management team, you will work on a wide range of initiatives that impact Amazon's transportation capabilities across Europe. This includes reviewing, proposing, and implementing changes to drive cost savings, operational efficiency and improvements in safety & sustainability. You will have end-to-end exposure of our European operations, with regular and varied stakeholder engagement.
Determine end-to-end strategy for program, develop business case and engage with leadership teams to drive alignment
Assess feasibility of implementing network changes
Continuously review network performance, identifying improvement opportunities to continue our progress towards sustainability, cost, performance and safety targets
Build expertise in the understanding of logistics and transportation assets
Work with relevant internal stakeholders ensure changes are implemented correct, on time, and at scale
Work with internal tech/analytics teams to request, align, prioritize and deploy enablers for the teams objectives
Identify ongoing opportunities for program and performance development, creating end to end process plans; implementing once fully aligned with stakeholders and Sr Leadership team
Create, monitor and strive to improve change managements operational KPI's
Integrate ST Change Management into the wider organisations network design/review processes
· Lead the coordination with business, technical and senior leadership teams to own and identify operational requirements, and impact of Amazon wide initiatives across Amazon Transportation Services.
· Lead initiatives to prepare the network for peak volumes and achieve cost objectives by managing network transformations ensuring cost efficiently and maintaining the high customer experience bar.
· Outstanding problem solving ability and technical aptitude. Ability to recognize gaps in change management, workflows and operational processes and procedures.
· Own metrics and performance indicators related to initiatives to measure overall performance and provide foundation for continuous improvement.
· Communicate in a clear, precise, and regular format with all partners and stakeholders, including ongoing project status reports as well as capturing requirements from stakeholder teams.
This role is a Fixed term 12 month contract, with the potential to convert to permanent upon the end of the 12 month period. The location for this role is flexible within the UK. Basic Qualifications
Professional experience as a Supply Chain Manager, Program Manager, Project Manager, Consultant, Operations Manager.
Experience building business cases and prioritizing solutions through data analysis
Experience driving multi-stakeholder projects to structure, plan, and deliver projects within scope
Experience delivering both tactical and strategic initiatives
Experience in Transportation/Supply Chain operations.
Academic focus on Operations Management, Engineering and/or MBA
Advanced Excel skills
Proficiency in SQL
Ability to operate in ambiguous business situation
Strong oral and written communication skills, and proven ability to influence others
Master's degree or equivalent in Logistics / Supply Chain / Mathematics / Science / Engineering / Business Development.
Proficiency with analytics tools such as TABLEAU, Microsoft Excel to include making charts, data manipulation, pivot tables, creating macros, and visual basic knowledge.
Fluency in German, Italian, Spanish, French, or other European languages
