CNC Operator needed to join a bespoke technology and engineering organization, who provide leading digital products and services within transport, based out of their site in Middlesex. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of manufacturing processes, operating to high standards of quality, whilst promoting and supporting continuous improvement within the Sheet Metal Fabrication Department.
It is desirable for the successful candidate to hold the relevant qualification in Civil Engineering (Apprenticeship, Degree or equivalent) and have a keen interest in being a CNC Operator.
What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the CNC Operator will include:
Operate and set Amada CNC Press Brakes and Laser Cutter.
Maintain programs within the machines eliminating programming errors.
Forward plan and load plan for day machine production.
Complete daily output sheets.
Maintain a high standard and quality of work.
Clean and maintain work area.
Comply with the company's H&S policies and procedures within Production and Welding.
Operate relevant machinery and tools in a safe manner.What experience you need to be the successful CNC Operator:
Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering - Apprenticeship, Degree or equivalent.
Experience in setting and operating Amada HFB/ APX press brakes and Trumpf laser.
Experience of modern manufacturing techniques.
Ability to understand CNC Programmes.
