M&E Project Manager.
We are looking for a Project Manager - ideally with electrical / mechanical / building experience - CAD is part of the works, so we need someone that has experience of using AUTOCAD packages, but they are happy to train along with a couple of other software packages we now have.
We are looking for person to join our projects team, our client project range is quite wide and can be from small building repairs /equipment installs to full shop fit outs. The role will involve dealing with site administration and this is a large part of working within the BBA airports.
Reporting to: Senior Project Manager
Based at Petersfiled head office but project work is mainly at London airports & Railway Stations. The work is Split 50% in head office and 50% out on site.
Project managers duties to include:
Project Planning & Management
• Assist in the planning of projects and liaising with engineers and co-ordinators.
• Obtaining quotations and information from suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Conduct Risk Assessments, budget reviews for projects. Develop estimations and breakdown of budgets using Excel.
• Project Manage smaller projects from start to finish Permits
• Assist, apply and maintain yearly or Job specific Railway Station Permit applications.
• Apply for job permits through Heathrow's and Gatwick's portal.
Report and Monitoring
• Checking projects and works status and prioritising works, in agreement with the PM.
• Compiling reports for clients and internal management.
• Organising and maintaining project databases and files.
• Creating and maintaining programmes of works for projects.
Administration assistance.
• Creating job packs and information for works and projects.
• Creating quotations when required.
• Raising jobs/quotations on specific CRM software. Linking all data projects under Project Module on Clik (inhouse software system - training provided).
• Travelling to site meetings and documenting
• Assisting in surveys. Ability to interpret projects data and present it in a clear context.
• Basic CAD knowledge required (ideal can drive AutoCAD)
• Ability to relay basic technical advice and offer problem solving.
• Clearly details works and liaise with engineers to deliver
