Holt Executive is partnered with a highly-regarded defence and aerospace technology innovator, providing cutting-edge products to a number of major commercial and defence organisations. They are recruiting for an experienced Subcontracts Manager to join their team in Crawley, West Sussex.

You will be responsible for the total supplier agreement lifecycle for a large and growing business unit within our client's business. Working with stakeholders to identify risk gaps, working with suppliers in the negotiation and management of supplier agreements, this position will play a pivotal role in the strategic posture of the company's supply chain.

Key responsibilities for the Subcontracts Manager:

Leading and managing the Cradle-to-Grave Subcontract Management process.
Managing the Pre-Award phase, from strategy development to terms and conditions negotiations working hand-in-hand with various stakeholders within the business.
Roll out the execution phase of subcontracts: define & award the agreement, actively perform change and risk management, monitor the need for REI's, and ensure the close-out subcontracts in a timely manner.
Managing various types of agreements across the UK, USA and internationally.
Analysing and summarising data to provide timely and accurate subcontract status to Management.
Applying ingenuity and innovation to develop solutions to complex agreement problems.
Initiating risk mitigation strategies related to the performance and pricing of Long Term Strategic Agreements

Key requirements for this Subcontracts Manager role:

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 9 years of subcontracts/contracts/supply chain related experience, OR Graduate degree with a minimum of 7 years of subcontracts/contracts/supply chain related experience.
Significant experience negotiating and managing supplier agreements in support of commercial customers within the UK.
Ability to work cross-functionally in a complex and fast paced organisation.
Strong interpersonal and planning skills to lead change through influencing abilities.
Solid project management skills.
NCMA certification is a benefit
