A Good Secondary School based in East London, is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate PE Teacher to start in September 2022.

The School

This Community school located in the borough of Barking & Dagenham, are looking to recruit an engaging PE Teacher to join their team from September 2022. The school has the highest expectations and ambitions for every student. Through a large investment, the school has recently completed their rebuild and the facilities are fantastic. This larger than average school are very supportive of their staff and are always trying to better their expertise. Having been graded Good in their last Ofsted, it was stated that "Leaders make sure that staff benefit from quality training to help them to contribute towards the school's priorities. From their monitoring, leaders identify the personal training and development needs of members of staff, which they then fulfil."

The school has great public transport links nearby with a railway station and tube station both only a 10-minute walk from the school.

PE TEACHER:

Here lies the opportunity to join not only a great school, but a very successful department. They are looking to appoint a talented and PE Teacher who will be responsible for teaching Girls PE from KS3 - KS4. You will be working alongside an incredibly supportive team to work closely together to ensure that the children are given the opportunity to reach their own individual goals. All students are encouraged to participate in the extensive and successful extra-curricular programme with competitive and recreational clubs running before school, at lunch time and after school. Having recently completed a rebuild, there are fantastic facilities available to the department. The PE department have been highly successful in recent borough and division competitions covering a wide range of sports and athletics. With varying levels of experience within the department, both experienced PE and Newly Qualified (NQT) PE Teachers are welcomed to apply for this post.

The role is to start from September 2022 and will be for the Autumn Term in the first instance.

To be considered for this PE Teacher role you must have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
PGCE in PE
