One of the UK woodworking industry's leading independent service providers. Our team of highly skilled and experienced engineers, supported by our back-office team provide unrivalled after-sales care across the UK for both our own range of machinery and those from other manufacturers.
Due to the impending retirement of a long servicing member of our team, we are seeking to add a Technical Manager to our office-based customer support team. Working alongside the Service Manager, the role will include:
* Communication with customers and engineers to diagnose issues
* Sourcing of technical information and spare parts as required
* Assisting with management of our team of Service Engineers
* Maintaining up to date technical and service records
* Management and communication of machinery health and safety legislation
The successful candidate will have some essential skills and experience:
* Organised and thorough approach to tasks
* Strong engineering background with appropriate apprenticeship training
* Experience in a technical support role
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Confidence and experience with IT systems
In addition, it is desirable that the successful candidate will have:
* Industry experience
* Experience/training in electrical fault finding and wiring diagrams
There is a highly competitive package on offer to the successful candidate including healthcare, pension and bonus. Product training will be provided on our range of high-quality machines
