This is an excellent opportunity to start a lucrative, well respected and enjoyable career as a Barristers' Clerk.

There is not much (correct) information on the internet about what the role of a clerk is, so please get in touch if you would like to know more. In its simplest terms, a Barrister is a Lawyer/Advocate who argues cases in court and can advise clients on legal issues, and a clerk is their Agent behind the scenes who is sorting everything out. At a junior level, this includes a lot of administrative tasks, similar to that of an Office junior or Admin Assistant in other industries, however, there is much more career progression offered as you will begin negotiating barrister's fees, allocating work and managing each barrister's individual practice as well as developing business for Chambers.
