Do you have the passion to thrive within a fast-paced travel environment? If so, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in an exciting Cruise team within the travel industry.
Main duties will include:
* To offer an exceptional level of customer service during every enquiry
* Answering calls and emails in a timely fashion
* Dealing with post sales queries, upgrades, flight changes etc.
* Booking new elements on existing bookings (flights, hotels)
* Preparing and sending tickets.
* Managing Invoices from suppliers
* Able to solve in-resort queries when required
Experience required:
* Previous telephone sales experience is a must
* Confident telephone manner with a pro-active approach
* Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
* To be dynamic and highly motivated with a will to succeed
* A knowledge of travel geography and first-hand experience of travelling in a continent outside Europe is highly desirable
* Flexible approach and team player
* A competent level of keyboard and PC skills along with an excellent command of both written and spoken English
* Basic knowledge of excel spreadsheets
Skills required:
* A good knowledge of destinations having worked within travel industry.
* Excellent organisational skills that support the rest of the team.
* The ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
* A determination to achieve and succeed
* Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and interpersonal
* Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office and some basic image editing
* Able to work independently as well as part of a wider team and work across functions and departments
* Strong attention to detail.
* Able to take personal ownership to resolve issues
