Volunteer Team Manager - Barnet & Chase Farm

Salary £37,023 per annum

Hours of work 37.5 hours a week over five days

Base Hybrid working for the foreseeable future with regular attendance to the office minimum of 3 days a week in north London: Split between Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals.

The Royal Free Charity is seeking an ambitious and talented Volunteer Team Manager to join their Volunteer team at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospital.

The role

The Volunteer Team Manager will report and work closely with the Assistant Director of Services, enabling the delivery of Volunteer Services at Barnet and Chase Farm and inspiring those who volunteer for the charity.

The Volunteer Team Manager will have oversight of the daily co-ordination of volunteers at both sites and will be supported by the volunteer support team in managing the daily rota and allocation of tasks.

The Volunteer Team Manager will support the Assistant Director of Services in identifying new volunteer opportunities at Barnet and Chase Farm sites by working in partnership with Royal Free London NHS partners and stakeholders.

The post holder will have line management responsibility for the Royal Free Charity Volunteer Co-Ordinator for Barnet and Chase Farm sites & Younger Persons Volunteer Co-ordinator, working alongside the Volunteer support and administration team based at The Royal Free Site

The team

The Volunteer Team coordinates a wide variety of volunteering opportunities across all our hospital sites. Being responsible for over 200 volunteers, we work closely with the Trust staff to find ways in which volunteers can help to support the staff and the patients to have the best possible experience while they are in the hospital.
