Database and Compliance ManagerWiltshire Air Ambulance£35,000Full timeSemington, WiltshireHybrid working- 2-3 days in office, flexible hoursDo you want to join an exciting charity that saves lives and makes a real difference? Do you have experience working with a database in a charity or similar role as well as a compliance knowledge such as GDPR? Then join the dedicated Wiltshire Air Ambulance team and make a difference with your skills! You'll be working at the air base 2 -3 days per week alongside the helicopters, pilots and medics that your work helps to fund! Wiltshire Air Ambulance (WAA) is a small but expanding charity providing an essential helicopter emergency medical service to people living, working, and travelling across Wiltshire and Bath.Your role will be to lead on day-to-day data needs including keeping records on the CRM according to GDPR regulations. You'll review the charity's existing data policies, procedures and guidance to make sure that all standards and regulations are followed and team members are complying with data protection regulations in their record keeping. You use your skills to facilitate advanced queries based on existing databases to assist with fundraising and marketing strategy and work across the teams to help ensure information from the database can be extracted and used effectively. Summary of Compliance Responsibilities· Provide ongoing support to ensure the functionality of the databases, ensuring they are utilised to their full capability, support new releases and update colleagues.· Report to the ICO. · Work in collaboration with the IT support partner to find solutions to data protection issues and encrypt laptops.· Present information to key stakeholders.· Review the Data Protection and Privacy Policy and the Privacy Notice to ensure the charity is up to date with current legislation.Summary of Database Responsibilities* Produce data selections/exports to help drive vital marketing and fundraising activities as needed and scheduled by team members.* Work with Senior Managers to assist with strategic reporting, performance tracking, analysis and data modelling to provide insights.* Import and export large data sets from external sources.* Run regular system audits, data cleansing and merging of records.The team at WAA love what they do and you will too!
