1:1 Primary SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Manchester, Moston - (M40)
Start date: September 2022
Salary: £375 - £420 weekly pay
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Job Specification
We are looking for a qualified and highly skilled SEN teaching assistant for a 1:1 job within a one-form entry Primary School in Manchester, Moston - (M40).

You will be working 1:1 with a child with autism. The child can be hyperactive and distracted, so all instructions need to be kept specific and brief. They are usually calm but can become frustrated if something irritates them.

Hold a teaching assistant qualification (Example: 'Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools')
Have at least 3 months working 1:1 with a child with autism

Requirements:

Has a DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one
School based experience within the last 3 years
Experience of working with children
Has relevant SEND experience
