Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is holding a minimum of 6 weeks experience within a school environment.
The proposed start date for this role would be September 2022.
Smart Teachers are working with an outstanding mainstream secondary school in Hackney, that caters for pupils aged 11 to 18. The school has students with profound and multiple learning difficulties. We are looking for an experienced learning support assistant that has worked ideally worked with pupils between the ages of 11 - 18.
The school aims to provide a supportive education program that is customised to the needs of their students so that students can work to the best of their abilities. All staff recognise that all children have talents and abilities to celebrate, and part of your role is to help children to discover these if successful and you meet the criteria below then you will be responsible for supporting a pupil in KS3 - KS4 with additional needs.
To be considered for the Learning Support Assistant position, you will:
Have proven and recent experience in a similar role within a school
Have knowledge/experience in supporting students that have additional needs
Be eligible to work in the UK (must have a valid visa)
Possess recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks.
