We are looking for an experienced Finance Administrator for an immediate start ongoing temporary assignment based in Cardiff.As a Finance Administrator you will support the Treasury team and wider Client Accounts team in the control of all accounts, including daily update of cashbook, authorisation of payments, journal posting and supporting with the setup of accounts.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Upload all previous working day banking transactions to the finance system
  • Daily update of all cashbook and bank balances
  • Authorisation of payments via the online banking portal
  • Review and post journal to the finance system
  • Record all incoming cheques and liaise with the relevant operations team to establish the relevant account
  • Respond to all remittance queries
  • Completion of quarterly returns
  • Provide support with account setup
Skills & Knowledge:
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent financial and numerical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
This is a full-time role, working 37 ½ hours per week, Monday to Friday.
