We are recruiting for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in a Withington-based primary school.

Details of the role:

This is a high achieving school which has been awarded 'Outstanding' status by OFSTED and was particularly praised for the accelerated attainment progress of their pupils. The school takes great pride in the wellbeing of their staff and pupils and aims to provide a welcoming environment for their children to become positive members of the wider community. As a EYFS Teaching Assistant you will be working with a large focus on developing abilities in phonics and numeracy in the class. Working with the class teacher, you will be ensuring learning is fun and rewarding for the children. You will be working with groups of children to support those who may be struggling. The position is full-time and on a long-term basis, lasting up until the end of the academic year and beyond!

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

Have school-based experience
Knowledge of phonics phases
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Provide a CV with employment/education history included. Employment breaks must be explained
