DIRECTOR OF LEGAL COMPLIANCE

MAJOR MANUFACTURING & INDUSTRY GROUP

HYBRID OR REMOTE WORKING (UK BASED)

Our client is a well known global brand in the industrials & manufacturing sector. We are looking to recruit a new Director for Legal Compliance into the Senior Management team. You will be responsible for the Group's risk management of competition law, bribery & corruption, data privacy, fraud, export controls and other regulatory / legal compliance areas and you will be setting the legal compliance and ethics risk management framework and agenda.

With over 8,000 employees, a long value chain and lots of touchpoints, this is a business of interesting complexity with a strong culture of excellence and best practice in regulatory and compliance. You will join a stable, collegiate and friendly team and manage a number of direct reports, both within Legal & Investigations.

The successful candidate will have a substantial track record in Competition Law, Regulation and Corporate/Gorvernment Affairs. Experience in ABC, DP oversight, fraud, trade sanctions & export control and managment of relationships with regulatory bodies will all be relevant as well, though candidates may not have previous experience in all the above. Previous experience in heavy industry and/or manufacturing (eg. energy, steel, chemicals, automotive etc) will be very useful.

This role will suit a legally trained and qualfiied compliance expert who is a team player and has good technical and analytical capabilities and excellent judgement. A cooperative attitude and good interpersonal skills are a must. This is a very exciting time to be joining this company and carving out a great career pathway in global industry.
