SEND Support Assistant needed in Bradford - BD10

A SEND support assistant role has become available within a school in the BD10 area of Bradford. The school is recruiting an enthusiastic and supportive classroom teaching assistant who is passionate about children's education and development.

You will be support a child with Autism in the class to acess the curricuculm.

We are looking for a SEND support assistant who has:

A calm, supportive and creative approach to learning.
Confidence to deliver activities 1:1 and in small groups targeted to support children's individual needs and abilities.
The ability to support and encourage children to engage in learning.
Passion and determination to achieve best outcomes for children.
Ideally you should have:

Experience working closely with children with SEND providing support for pupils with educational, emotional and social development needs.
Ability to collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to provide the best outcomes for the student's education.
At least a Level 2 Certificate working with children, but passion and experience working with children with SEND is just as important.
DBS certificate on the update service, or the willingness to undertake a new one.
