The Buy/Pay channel strategy project in Mars is a Global initiative within Indirect procurement. Its purpose is to implement best-in-class buying and paying channels appropriate for each sub-category of spend to; reduce rogue spend, increase compliance to contracts, increase in touch-less transactions, takeout tactical work, on-board fewer one-off suppliers, translate category strategies into category cards and ensure associated system content is available to purchase against.
The End to End (E2E) Source to Pay (S2P) Help-desk project in Mars is another Global initiative within Indirect procurement. Its purpose is to transform the end user experience when seeking support within the S2P process, making it a seamless experience for issue resolution. The project will transform the organisation model within the support teams, tighten cooperation across departments, standardise & simplify processes and technology and have a key focus on user experience.
This role will work 50% on the buy/pay channel project and 50% on the E2E S2P Help-desk project
These projects form part of a broader transformation program at Mars within the procurement area.

Content Enablement The Change Manager plays a key role in ensuring change initiatives meet objectives, realise benefits and deliver ROI by increasing speed of adoption, usage of and proficiency with the changes. They focus on the people side of change, which can include changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisation structures. They apply the Prosci® change management process and tools to create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximise adoption, whilst minimising resistance. They assess change impact and readiness, identify impacted groups and points of resistance. They support the management of change communications and provide input to support the design and delivery of training. They act as a coach for senior leaders, helping them fulfil the role of change sponsor, and provide support to managers as they help their direct reports through transitions. They collaborate across the project/program team to integrate change management activities into the Project/Program plans.
Context and Scope;
Fulfilling the Change Manager role will:
Be a core part of the project teams and act as if they are 'in the same room' as the Program Manager/Project Manager, PMO and other key roles - collaborating in a global and virtual environment.
Work with the program/project teams to fully integrate change management activities with program and/or project activities to align with the goals and milestones of the program.
Require a high degree of collaborative working with and through a wide variety of stakeholders. A solid understanding of the organisational context, priorities of each of the stakeholder groups and the impact of the change are essential to build confidence and trust with project/program leadership and stakeholders.
Act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfil their roles as change sponsors. They may also provide direct support and coaching to managers as they help their direct reports through transitions. They will also support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans.
Educate program/project teams and key stakeholders on the people aspects of change, and embed a common language and practices to support the successful delivery of the initiative. Judgement will be required as to the appropriate level of 'best practice' required vs the practical needs of a fast-paced program. Required Skills and Experience:
Academic or vocational Change Management qualifications from an external professional association (eg Prosci®, ACMP®, CMI)
Bachelors degree or equivalent in a people-related discipline is desirable, but not a requirement, (eg Psychology, HR, Organization Development)
Experience in a Business Change environment (Project/Program management)
Functional knowledge and understanding of the network / organization
Experience in effectively leading changes that are x-segment and cross-functional
Exceptional active listening and communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills
Ability to diagnose and solve complex organization and people-related issues
Ability to facilitate groups, in both face-to-face and virtual settings, to deliver shared outcomes
Ability to work effectively with various levels within the organization, including the ability to coach senior leaders and Associates with a variety of backgrounds and personalities
Are a team player, able to work collaboratively with and through others, including the ability to influence without authority
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
Resilient, solution-focused, and tenacious
Familiarity with project/program management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle Organized with an ability to plan both strategically and tactically.
Experience within procurement function and with procurement systems i.e. SAP and SAP Ariba preferable
Fluent in spoken and written English
