Logistics Finance Manager - East Yorkshire - £55,000 - £65,000, Car Allowance & Bonus
A truly exciting role for an ambitious qualified, Logistics Finance Manager to join one of the area's premier employers. Our FTSE listed client is able to offer you the opportunity to work in an exciting Logistics Finance Manager overseeing the warehouses, CDC and transport operations.
You will work in partnership with the Logistics Director and Logistics Head of Departments. The individual will provide challenge and insight to deliver optimum productivity efficiencies year or year.

Duties will include:
Management and responsibility for the period end financial accounts and reporting, including reviewing results, relevant commentary and analysis of key issues and variances
Review of period end to ensure financial information is accurate and representative of the business performance
Produce operational budgets and forecasting working with transport and logistics managers
Weekly and monthly operational reviews
Develop understanding and reporting of the supply chain performance, including the impact of CDCs and delivery of the international market expansion
Manage and develop team of four to ensure the department and teams potential is fulfilled
Identify, present and challenge senior stakeholders with profit opportunities and actions required
Manage opening of new additional warehousing facilities, leasing additional space and manage a £25m capex spendThe ideal candidate will be:
Qualified CIMA or ACCA Accountant, with strong experience in an operationally focused role
With a proven practical background in the Logistics, Warehousing or Transport sector
Strong stakeholder management, injecting challenge to drive performance
Embrace change, and an ability to think strategically and tactically
Highly motivated, self-starter, with a passion to constantly strive to develop operational benefits to stakeholdersIn return:
