A global market leader providing courier, package delivery and express mail services seeks a Digital Marketing Manager to support the Head of Digital Marketing and the overall marketing function in order to drive ecommerce and online-to-offline revenue growth.
Impeccable attention to detail, highly analytical mindset and competency in handling data and Excel are essential skills within the role. The successful candidate will be able to show a range of skills in various areas, especially PPC and SEO, therefore proficiency in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads is a must. As well as in all tactics across onsite and offsite Search Engine Optimisation (technical SEO, content, outreach, digital PR).
Other areas include social media advertising, social media management, email, design, content writing, proof-reading, campaign, and agency management. Marketing automation experience is desirable. This person will be able to work in a team and have strong organisational skills to help manage multiple agencies and multiple projects at once.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
* Working with the wider team to deliver commercial growth and brand awareness through our activity across Google, Microsoft and social platforms
* Continual optimisation of paid search and paid social campaigns through an on-going analysis and testing
* Supporting creation and implementation of email and social campaign strategy
* Updating content and imagery, building new pages on the website using a CMS
* Performing regular User Acceptance Testing on websites
* Creating and managing artwork for various campaigns and competitions across the website, social channels, email campaigns and point of sale materials
* Collaborating with business partners in order to develop and execute new initiatives, campaigns and promotional activities
* Conducting regular research and gap analysis on competitors and their content/site features
* Undertaking regular site health checks to ensure that SEO compliance is maintained and always being reviewed
* Reviewing and improving site content to ensure it is useful to the target audience and fulfils a function to either increase brand awareness or increase conversions on the website. This includes writing new content for the websites as well as proof-reading
* Regular UX and usability audit of sites and supporting redesign of the websites
* Conducting Google Analytics audits to ensure data accuracy
Your Profile - Skillsets and Attributes
* Proficient using Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
* Advanced knowledge and highly experienced using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Data Studio (or similar). Includes interpreting data as well as setting up views, goals, events (GA), reports (DS), tags (GTM).
* Ability to generate specific KPI's and report on them
* Advanced knowledge of SEO (technical SEO, content, digital PR & outreach)
* Understanding dataLayer
* Extensive knowledge of UX best practices
* Highly analytical and experienced in designing and implementing A/B and MTV tests with the use of tools such as Optimizely, VWO or similar
* A data sPecialist with the initiative and ability to go beyond surface details to produce actionable insight
* Excellent communication skills and experience with stakeholder management
* Strong organisational and project management skills
Experience
* 2+ year in a Digital Marketing role with focus on PPC & SEO
* Proven experience managing Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
* Proven experience running email campaigns
* Proven experience running social and social advertising campaigns
* Proven experience designing assets using Adobe programs such as Photoshop
* Experience using a CMS to update website content and create new pages
* Experience in managing and troubleshooting Google Analytics (or similar)
* Experience in managing Google Tag Manager
