Hours of work and salary:

Rotational shift pattern - 2 weeks on day shift and 2 weeks on night shift
£10ph for dayshift - increasing to £10.76ph after 12 weeks
£13.33ph for nightshift - increasing to £14.35ph after 12 weeks
Earning potential of £538 per week on nightshift before tax
Want to work 10 hours of overtime as well? Make that £753 per week! (before tax)
37.5 hours per week
OVERTIME - any hours worked over 37.5 are paid at time and a half and more than 10 hours overtime is paid at double time!
Set shift pattern of 9.75 hours on a Monday and 9.25 hours per day for the rest of the working week.


Assembling axles and transmissions
Working from standard work instructions to produce components.
Performing routine functionality test and analysing malfunctions and make repairs.
Assist in the calibration and repair of measuring equipment and input data into pre-developed databases for record collection analysis and reporting.
Compliance with safety and quality standards.
Compliance with 5S programme and other business improvement initiativesRequirements:

Previous experience in a similar environment
The ability to follow and comprehend verbal, specific and detailed procedures and work instructions.
The ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations in order to perform the duties of the position.
Physical ability to fulfil the requirements of the job.
The ability to use hand tools, power tools, checking or testing equipment and to be able to read and interpret drawings - preferred.
Working at heights may be necessary.
Reasonable level of computer literacy where required.
