Assistant Management Accountant required for an exciting opportunity working for a business based in Birmingham. You will be working in the finance team where you will be responsible for processing purchase ledger invoices, preparing payments runs, reconciling supplier statements, reconciling company bank accounts, raising invoices, maintaining the cashbook, journal entries, allocating cash and other ad hoc duties as required. You will be trained and taught on how to complete management accounts from trial balance, so this is an exciting opportunity for any aspiring accountant who's actively studying ACCA / CIMA!

My client is ideally looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant who can join the business and hit the ground running. You must have excellent communication skills, be able to work as part of a small friendly team and on your own initiative and intermediate Excel skills and Level 3 AAT is advantageous.
