Head of SEO

My marketing leading ecommerce client are looking for a Head of SEO to join their growing team based in London. This role would suit someone with 3+ years experience of working in an SEO role. You will be heading up the SEO department to ensure that all of the contect reach as many people as possible.

Main Responsibilities
  • You will lead and manage our SEO team and will own the SEO strategy
  • You will deliver a technical workstream into the engineering teams to maintain and establish best SEO practices within the technical architecture
  • You will have design and execute on a content strategy that maximises visitation, subscriptions and revenue generated by SEO

Skills and Attributes Required
  • A background in delivering success in both technical and content-driven SEO
  • Efficient time management, prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Background & Experience
  • Good understanding of how Google and other search engines rank pages
  • Proven knowledge and experience of SEO tools and methodologies
  • Experience with web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics preferred)
  • Understanding and/or experience of using Tag Management system or customised tracking systems
  • Extensive experience of technical SEO
  • Good understanding of new data technologies and a passion to keep abreast of change
