A Housing Association in the West Midlands is looking for a Leasehold Officer to join their team on a temporary basis, initially for a period of 2 months with the possibility to be extended. They are a people-centred, modern organisation built upon the three pillars of: quality affordable homes and services, care and support, and social investment and enterprise. There is free parking available close to the office of the organisation and they offer opportunities for progression.

The role of a Leasehold Officer:

To manage leasehold properties and all aspects of leasehold services, including consultations for major works and repairs, issuing invoices and estimates for service charges. To provide advice and support to leaseholders for any queries including income management.
To actively manage and monitor the recovery of former tenant arrears and manage and monitor sundry debt accounts related to housing, working in partnership with the patch-based Officers and the Finance Department.
Main duties and responsibilities of a Home Ownership Officer:

Maximisation of Income Collection.
Reduce former tenant arrears
Consistent and timely review of Key Performance Indicators, targets and benchmark
Provide training/coaching where required
Create a supportive and participative environment within team and cross functionally
