Exciting opportunity to work in a brand new school opening in September for students across Key Stages 2 - 4. The school will be part of a Trust who have a long standing reputation for providing a stimulating and holistic approach to education, whilst working alongside parents, carers and other professionals to ensure students fulfil their potential.

Your new role
The school are looking for Teaching Assistants who have experience working with students with EHCPs and a primary need of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH). You will be working with students aged 7 to 16 providing inclusive and nurturing engagement and support. As well as ensuring students physical and emotional wellbeing, you will be expected to encourage independence and self-esteem. The job is full-time, 5 days a week on a term-time only basis.

What you'll need to succeed

Grade 9 - 4 (A* - C) GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent. Alternatively, a relevant Level 2 qualification
Ideally experience working with children or adults with SEMH
Strong communication, time management and organisational skills
