Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting 1-1 tutors in Core Subjects for work in the Summer Term and September in the Bournemouth and Poole area.

We currently have referrals for young people who have SEND needs, SEMH needs, medical needs and children in care who need support to either catch up with their education or for young people who are out of education. We need English, Maths and Science tutors for secondary pupils, functional skills tutors and also Primary specialists.

The role involves:

Teaching Personnel will match you with young people requiring tuition based on the subjects, ages of pupils and locations you can teach in. We will provide you support with ideas of things to try with pupils as well as managing difficult scenarios. You will be:

Providing 1-1 tuition in young peoples homes, schools or librarys in core subjects
Enabling young people to re-connect with education when they have been out of school for pro-longed periods of time
Working with pupils to overcome barriers to learning
Working in conjuction with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for your pupils

£25-35 per hour depending on experience and group size
Flexibility to manage your working weeek
Ability to work around other positions
Many free and low cost CPD training opportunities
Continue to work with children in a positive way without teaching classes of 30+

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
