Digital SEO Content Manager with experience of delivering large-scale content projects via a data-led content strategy and SEO, excellent organisational, problem-solving and coaching skills is required by Guide Dogs based in London.

SALARY: £37,465 - £45,493 per annum + £4,200 London Weighting Allowance

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Digital SEO Content Manager with experience of delivering large-scale content projects via a data-led content strategy and SEO, excellent organisational, problem-solving and coaching skills.

As the Digital SEO Content Manager you will manage the people and processes that deliver Digital information and advice for people with sight loss and their family and friends.

The Digital SEO Content Manager will lead a team of 3 and work closely with the Senior SEO Content Strategist, SEO and Content Specialist and 3rd parties to deliver excellent Digital Information and Advice and Services content across digital platforms.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the Digital SEO Content Manager will include:
  • Defining, creating, maintaining and delivering Digital Information and Advice delivery plans, within the data-led SEO strategy
  • Work with Business Partners to prioritise, plan and log the delivery of services digital content
  • Work closely with Digital Marketing Manager to ensure that all digital campaign work is fully integrated, managed and promoted in the most efficient and effective manner across teams
  • Delivery of high-quality Information, Advice and Guidance content for multiple Digital touchpoints. This will necessitate:
    • Understanding and contributing to the data-led content strategy
    • Reviewing SEO briefs and finished copy to ensure that quality is baked in through the pipeline
    • Setting the standards for video and photography and supporting the Digital Content Producer in managing colleagues and 3rd parties in its delivery
    • Reviewing and approving online content before it is published
    • Line management and coaching of the team
  • Work closely with the Content Marketing Manager and Agile Project Manager to understand and prioritise bugs or issues and log them appropriately in Jira
  • Liaise with in-house or 3rd party developers to support them in fixes, and with in-house Test team to support testing activity as required

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree or equivalent-level qualification/experience
  • Experience of delivering large-scale content projects via a data-led content strategy and SEO
  • Experience of managing an end-to-end content production process, including copy, video and photography
  • Experience of team management
  • Person-centred content development, including:
    • Creating research briefs and working with research professionals to obtain research and interpret results
    • Demonstrable understanding of what great Digital content is, and how to create it. Strong copywriting and Digital user experience skills
    • Clear understanding of Digital user experience, metrics, SEO, Brand and Services Marketing, content and design, to enable close and effective working relationships with lead professionals and agencies
    • Outstanding stakeholder management to support excellent working relationship with subject matter experts, ensuring that the information they provide is rich, relevant and usable
    • Outstanding project management and planning skills
    • Communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, manage and influence a range of stakeholders in a changing environment
    • Organisational skills, along with excellent problem solving and coaching skills and an ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
