The purpose of the job is to work as part of a small core team to support a complex programme of activity within the Oxfordshire Housing and Growth Deal (the Deal) - a partnership between all the local authorities across Oxfordshire and the Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP).
The Deal is a highly ambitious and challenging initiative, the first of its kind in the country aimed at securing both economic prosperity and sustainable growth for Oxfordshire. This role will be at the heart of all the project management associated activity required to deliver the Deal.
The Deal is a partnership agreement with government and the core team are delivering on behalf of all the partners, so you will be working for the partners, delivering the components of the Deal on their behalf.
The postholder will be required to work in a fast-paced environment to successfully deliver project and programme milestones. As part of this you will be expected to undertake and promote the highest standards of professionalism working closely with both partners and the core team dedicated to the delivery of the Deal. A core characteristic of the Oxfordshire Housing and Growth Deal is its delivery through partnerships and the postholder will be expected to offer both the professional and interpersonal skills necessary to foster positive working relationships with partners to collectively deliver the intended outcomes of the Oxfordshire Growth Deal.

Job Responsibilities-

To pro-actively and successfully lead on projects to deliver key milestones of the Oxfordshire Housing and Growth Deal Delivery Plan.
Be a driving force to move the projects through their lifecycle efficiently and in creating a sense of urgency. Provide timely updates to the Oxfordshire Growth Deal Head of Programme, and other lead officers.
To be responsible for ensuring the project is managed and delivered using the Oxfordshire Growth Deal project management guidelines; develop and manage programme/project plans, complete project documentation/Programme Highlight Reports to required standard, report on the implications of risks and issues, manage the change control process and ensure key decisions and meeting minutes are documented and communicated.
To lead on the collation and analysis of business intelligence across the Oxfordshire Growth Deal, providing visual and statistical interpretations for executive and government audiences. The complexities of the business intelligence will require check and challenge quality reviews and ability to present any high risk/issue to the core team, where appropriate.
To support the budget process in accordance with the council's policies and procedures.
To be responsible for managing and monitoring the procurement process in accordance with the council's policies and procedures.
To be accountable for the quality and schedule of project deliverables, scheduling and conducting quality reviews as outlined in the project plan.
To work with other Project Managers within the Oxfordshire Growth Deal and partner local authorities to co-ordinate key project activities.How to Apply or for more Information:
