Clarence Recruitment is working in close partnership with a Mainstream Secondary School located in Leicester. The school is looking to appoint a number of full-time Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistants to start September 2022 and will continue on a long-term/permanent basis into the new academic year. The successful LSA must be able to work Monday to Friday, 8:30-15:30.

This is a well-respected school, that ensures students within the setting are supported throughout their time in the environment. Many of the learners in this environment find it difficult to trust individuals, so we are looking for someone that can build rapport quickly.

The role:

* You will be required to work with the students individually and in small groups, supporting with all areas of the curriculum

* You must be passionate about working with students with special educational needs and have previous experience of working in a special school or similar environment

* You will be confident, enthusiastic and be able to identify and engage with different learning needs

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
