On a day to day basis you'll be running all buying activity, looking over the existing agreements, sourcing new products building great relationships with vendors as you go!

This is fast paced business with may seasonal trends from the end users / retail market, you'll be pivotal in working with category & commercial teams in defining a the procurement strategy.

Financial controls, measures & administration will be part of your remit. GSCOP records, price confirmation, processing of claims. Liaising with Administrators to ensure, weekly and month end processes are completed in a timely accurate manner, to ensure finance reports accurately reflect category position.

This is a company where people work brilliantly together to collectively produce results. You'll be working with other department heads & excellent communication is prevalent day to day in the fast-paced environment.

The Right Candidate:

You'll be a seasoned Procurement/Buying Management professional who can manage large budgets, teams and wide variety of suppliers.

FMCG/Fresh Produce background is ideal due to the speed of the business and short shelf-life nature of the products however a strong materials background in other forms of manufacturing is also highly prized here.

The key thing is showing a clear ability to understand business, you'll enjoy commercial strategy and see how your input makes a difference!

Key skills required:

Procurement Management experience in Food/FMCG/Manufacturing industries
Excellent relationship builder, expertly manages suppliers
High levels of commercial/business acumen
Solutions driven
Leadership & Management qualities -engages, inspires!
