MI & Data Analyst/ MI, Data & Analytics Manager

The role is to support in the development, production & analysis of data to produce high-quality insight of current activity to inform the prioritisation of future improvements within the Commercial & Business Banking Onboarding change function.

Role:
§ Extracting & Analysing data to produce useful insight of current performance, blockers & pain points
§ Responding to ad hoc data requests from key stakeholders, understanding requirements fully to reduce possible errors
§ Able to understand multiple processes across different business areas to better inform outputs and produce more coherent insights
§ Effective at communicating insight/outputs to key stakeholders
§ Work collaboratively with colleagues/stakeholders to ensure required data/insight outputs are successfully produced in timescales specified
§ Manage on-going MI/data commitments including regulatory reporting

Required Technical Skills/Experience:
§ SQL - able to write/interpret SQL to extract required raw data for analysis
§ Experience working with/extracting data from data warehouses/hubs, ideally Hadoop
§ Advanced Excel skills including VBA - utilising Excel to create/produce useful insight
§ Able to create comprehensive visualisation of insight for presentation to senior stakeholders
§ Can work independently to collate and analyse data using pre-determined tools, methods & formats

Personal Skills/Experience:
§ Stakeholder Management - have strong stakeholder relationship skills. Able to manage stakeholder's expectations and work closely with them to understand requirements to achieve desired outcomes
§ Able to understand business processes and how the data aligns to those processes to draw relevant insights
§ Worked within an Agile change environment desirable
§ Problem solving skills
§ Good communication skills
