Are you an innovative, strategic Purchasing leader? This is a fantastic opportunity to join the UK's leading manufacturer of household finished products where 1 in 5 homes will have their products.

As a result of growth over the past 12 months they are looking to bring in a Head of Purchasing to lead transformation whilst driving continuous Improvement across the end to end Purchasing process.

You will join a business who have in excess of 250 employees and turnover just short of 100million. They are also part of a global business who recorded a turnover of 4billion in 2021.

Increase the Procurement brand both internally across the business and externally with suppliers
The ability to recognise gaps in the current process and implement change
Lead the team when it comes to best in class negotiations and supplier management.
Rationalise supply base, driving the commercial performance - Quality, Cost and Delivery
NPI - Constantly looking for opportunities to successfully launch new product releasesTotal spend responsibility is c.50million with a large percentage of that spend in China across, so a real opportunity for cost savings and scrutinising the wider strategy.

Culture is key to my client, they want dynamic, inquisitive candidates who will challenge the status quo whilst bringing people along for the journey.

Stakeholder management is critical, reporting to the CFO you will need to be able to drive change and influence up and down the food chain with an assertiveness whilst keeping people onside.

A proven track record in a leadership role - Ideally from an Manufacturing environment

High volume, mass manufacturing background - FMCG, Automotive, Retail

A network in the China and Asian markets would be advantageous
