Financial Systems implementation - SAGE to SAP

The Role

My client is looking for someone with a proven track record of successful finance system implementations. This will initially be implementing for the UK entities. The successful candidate with have proved experience of migrating from Sage and implementing SAP(ideally B1)

Key Responsibilities

• Leading SAP Business One full life cycle project to ensure deadlines are met.
• Draw up project plans, detail timescales and resources, and manage the project from scope through post-execution review
• Create clear and visible activity plans ensuring that resources with the right capabilities have been aligned and are being actively managed.
• Hold regular finance team meetings and meetings with the external provider.
• Bring together members of the UK finance team to deliver sub projects, including direct problem resolution, decision making, and communications through all phases of the project.

About you

• Experience in finance and employee system implementations, ideally in SAP Business One with knowledge of Sage Line 50.
• Demonstrated ability to lead implementation projects from initial concept to post-execution reviews within SAP Business One
• Proven track record of successful finance system implementations
• Working knowledge of common financial terms and key processes
• Understanding of intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Experience of multicurrency, multi country environments.
• Experience excelling within fast paced environments and able to adapt to change
• Able to harness troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify causes to issues identified and articulate clearly next steps needed to resolve issues
