Marketing Automation and Segmentation Manager
£70,000 - £80,000 + Excellent Benefits
Our client is a market-leading provider of integrated research, media, training, and events to the global Technology community. Role:
This role will be leading a team of Email, Segmentation and Automation specialists and will be supporting many of the aspects Email Marketing including email scheduling, QA, deployment, segmentation, permission handling and campaign analytics. This role will be responsible for establishing an efficient email operation process to allow Marketing to deliver best in class, personalized and data driven marketing campaigns.
Day-to-day Responsibilities
* Works closely with Pillar Marketers and align on cohesive email strategy, roadmap, goals and project deliverables.
* Works in close partnership with Production, Automation and Segmentation Managers for seamless email operations process, audience build, automation workflows and analysis.
* Leads and develops a team of Email and Data Segmentation Specialists, including day-to-day management of team, workload priorities and performance management
* Monitors, evaluates and assigns incoming campaign requests
* Maintains team's email testing and experimentation process
* Maintains high email QA and production standards
* Serves as an email guru who will advocate, onboard and demonstrate industry best practice, email tactics and emerging trends
* Designs and executes data automation capabilities for personalized experiences across multiple marketing channels using automation platform such as Eloqua
* Provides leadership and expertise on brand pillar's target audience selection, propensities and buying personas/ profiles to ensure highly targeted email marketing campaigns
* Works closely with the Data Governance team to ensure data processes, frameworks, and governance is understood and adhered to
* Conducts team appraisals, competency framework mappings and production of team personal development plans for Digital Marketing Associates.
Qualifications
·Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, preferably Eloqua
·Prior team management experience required
·Analytics-focused, with experience translating data into business and consumer insights
·Strong project management skills
·Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, graphs)
·Understands CASL, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA
·Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, HTML / CSS
·Strong interest in the analytical side of marketing such as marketing performance, segmentation, and overall database health
·Attention to detail and process is a must
·Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment
·Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
·Strong customer service skills, outstanding verbal, and written communication skills, specifically with the ability to collaborate internally
·Has a working knowledge of relational databases and their use in marketing programs
