This is a great opportunity for you to offer your Group Risk experience, to support all of the administrative aspects for the Risk Advising Consultants. The role an be fully home based anywhere in the UK the company has head offices in London and Bradford.
Covering all areas of Group Risk processes for Income Protection Policies.
You will be responsible for providing operational support on a portfolio of clients in relation to their group risk policies, within Wellbeing Group Risk Operations team, providing support to their clients and Group Risk Consultant team.
Become an income protection claims expert for the company, adding value with your in-depth knowledge of your clients' claims and their insurers' propositions.
You will manage your claims portfolio keeping all stakeholders fully informed on claim cases. You will also support new claims, claim escalations, claim reviews, ceasing claims and any other claim related activities.
What will you be doing?
Ensure group risk scheme renewal requests for membership data and insurer premium are issued to clients in line with team procedures.
Ensure that membership is correct, includes all eligible employees and is at the correct level of benefit.
Identify and proactively manages medical underwriting requirements to conclusion, keeping all stakeholders fully informed at all stages.
Checks insurer scheme accounts for accuracy before issuing to clients on time.
Proactively manage Group Life Assurance or Critical Illness claims.
Provide an exceptional customer experience and drive improved retention to enable the opportunity for cross and upselling of our business portfolio of solutions.
You will work closely with the Group Risk Operations Manager within their area of responsibility to ensure that the administration of all clients' group policies are carried out in accordance with relevant policies. Also providing support to the Head of Commercial Operations in relation to nominated business projects.
Additionally, you build strong internal, client and provider relationships based on respect that develops and builds loyalty, retention and increased client benefit spend.
Take ownership of your portfolio and proactively manage the associated workload, flagging client risks and opportunities.
Request client data - for full member ship - working data accuracies.
Liaising with third party insurers - requesting accounts.
Checking all the data for membership is compliant and accurate.
Processing client payments and registering the policies.
Managing claims, notifying insurers.
Processing claims forms
Some occasional travel to the London offices may be required for meetings with the Group Risk Teams.
Detailed knowledge and understanding of group risk policies is preferred, primarily death in service, income protection, critical illness and other employee benefits.
Experience of working with an Employee Benefits Consultancy or with an Insurance Provider is preferred but not essential.
CII GR1 qualified, preferred.
