Temporary Payroll Officer

Blisworth

£18.00 to £22.00 per hour DOE

Immediate Start

My client is looking for an immediately available Payroll Officer to be responsible for processing weekly and monthly payrolls in conjunction with a payroll bureau along with all associated monthly and annual payroll related tasks. The role has the potential of becoming permanent.

Responsibilities

Accurate processing of weekly & monthly payrolls in conjunction with Cintra Payroll Bureau and all associated monthly/annual payroll tasks.
Ensuring data is imported correctly to payroll and sense-checking data before issuing to site managers for approval.
Producing payroll reports for Finance teams and issuing BACS files internally.
Completion of weekly & monthly HMRC and Pension reconciliations
Balancing of HMRC and Pension reconciliations with Payroll Bureau month-end reports (incl Apprenticeship Levy).
Production of P32's by location; organisation of payment by agreed date each month with Accounts.
Management of Auto-Enrolment pension scheme, including weekly/monthly correspondence to all enrolled/postponed employees.
Balancing and preparation of upload file to transfer pension payments to Standard Life by agreed date each month.
Balancing of deductions applied through payroll for all AeO's/DEA's/court orders etc against totals on monthly disbursement reports generated by payroll bureau.
Creation of cheque/BACS requisitions & letters to all authorities for AoE orders/DEA orders.
Submission of responses to monthly online recruitment/vacancy/payroll statistics/COVID-19 Business Impact Surveys.
Management of correct set up of all employees, pay rates and pension criteria on Cintra.
Creation of new import/submission sheet templates for site management.
GDPR compliance/payroll data security maintenance.
Management of voluntary payrolled benefits (medical insurance and company cars)
Production of data for the company's annual PSA in conjunction with Group Management Accountant.Proven Abilities

Experience of processing payroll in house or with a payroll bureau
Experience of HR Software and Payroll Bureau software would be desirable
Intermediate Excel skills to manage various weekly payroll reporting and reconciliation spreadsheetsRole advertised: 27 June 2022
