Adecco Chester are currently recruiting on behalf of North Wales Police for a Vetting Officer.

The purpose of this role is to support the Force Vetting team in researching, obtaining, evaluating and reporting on a wide range of information obtained for the purpose of Police Vetting.

Salary: £12.34 p/hour

Hours: Monday - Friday, office hours

Duration: Temporary contract until March 2023

Location: Home based with some requirement to visit the Colwyn Bay HQ

Key Requirements:

To receive, review and check vetting applications received from persons applying to join North Wales Police
To conduct comprehensive research of police systems
Carrying out credit checks
Working closely with the Force Vetting Manager
To update relevant systems with vetting results and decisions

Key Skills:

Previous research or analytically experience
Competent in the use of IT
Proven experience of handling information of a confidential, sensitive and personal nature
