You will join our client Digitalisation team and you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and be responsible for delivering geospatial insights, report figures and analysis.
This role sits within their Environment & Health practice and will support a diverse range of UK and international projects. Typical projects include major infrastructure planning, impact assessments, ground investigations, biodiversity assessments and due diligence projects. You will also have opportunities to develop your innovative ideas and contribute to digitalisation projects.
Your Key Tasks and Responsibilities Will Include
Providing technical GIS expertise to multi-disciplinary projects and digitalisation activities.
Map production and data visualisation.
Data creation and management to client specifications.
Geospatial analysis and modelling.
Creation of web maps using ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online.
Configuring mobile GIS data collection apps - Survey 123, Collector and Field Maps.
Creating scripts and tools that automate tasks.
Your key deliverables will be
Successfully deliver routine GIS tasks, bringing in additional resource and expertise when required.
Build a network of contacts that you collaborate with.
Proactively communicate the team's capabilities to project stakeholders and request feedback
For this role, we believe your starting point is
Experience of using GIS software to produce figures and analysis (ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro).
Experience of ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online and associated web and data collection applications.
Basic knowledge of python and the ArcPy library.
Awareness of ETL tools such as FME for data conversion and manipulation.
Awareness of BIM.
Experience of managing project information using defined standards and workflows.
