Would you like to make a positive difference to the lives of disabled people?

We are seeking 3 new trustees to join our Board of Trustees for our exciting and well-established disability charity. 

 

What will you be doing?

Papworth Trust provide social housing, employment care and day services to thousands of disabled adults in the East of England.  We are proud of our ambitious 3 year business plan and are seeking innovative and dynamic individuals to join our Board.  We especially welcome those with experience of property management and development, fundraising, or social care,

We are also particularly keen to hear from candidates who have lived experience of disability and those of a diverse background.

Whilst ideally you will have a level of understanding of governance in an organisation, passion and commitment are as important as we offer a comprehensive trustee induction programme and ongoing support in the role.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to utilise existing and develop new external relationships are also important elements.

Time commitment

One to two dates per quarter plus reading time
