Our client is undertaking a transformation project including moving to a new core platform with integrated systems to deliver digital on-boarding of mortgage and savings business. To facilitate this, they are looking to add a Project Manager to the team. This is an exciting to join the existing core team as the project moves into the build and test phase.
You will be working closely with the Lead Project Manager and others in the core team to drive forward activity to support the delivery of a successful outcome to the project. Responsibilities will include management of third-party integrations; oversight of system development builds, working with the business to manage internal resourcing, first line oversight of risks, issues and dependencies. In addition, the role will provide broader support to the core project team as required to ensure overall success.
Main duties:
* Work closely with Project Manager and team members to provide support and knowledge sharing to meet project workload demands
* Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure solutions meet business requirements
* Collate and drive Risks, Remediation actions, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies and Decisions
* Support testing activities to ensure that all is delivered within time and quality expectations
* Support Work Stream Leads on Integration of third party APIs
* Manage the resource plan - ensuring that all internal teams are aware of resource requirements throughout delivery of the project. Review holiday calendar and question any resource challenges
* Produce and deliver internal reports and communications relevant to the project
* Oversight of system development builds (Delta items)
* Support business transition and help establish change
* Assist with development of business cases
To be the successful candidate you will have:
* Familiarity with delivering successful change programmes
* Ability to work under own initiative
* A methodical approach to process; an aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail
* Good organisational and communications skills.
* Understanding of project management principles, practices, techniques
* Awareness of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
* Familiarity with delivery tools such as Office 365, Jira
