We are looking for a National Account Manager in for our client who operates within the FMCG sector to provide an effective, profitable and progressive commercial management for a large key supermarket account. The role offers a competitive salary of upto £50,000(this could also be negotiable depending on experience), 33 days holiday entitlement as well as a car allowance scheme and flexible working options.

You will be working closely with all departments including NPD, marketing and site operations whilst engaging multi-site teams(with occasional travel to other UK site locations). You will ideally need to have chilled and retail experience, good understanding of sales, marketing and NPD processes together with strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

As an National Account Manager, you will:

Understand and drive supply chain strategy areas and identify opportunities, coordinate and deliver customer meetings and performance reviews while also managing and administering open book costing model for respective areas
Understand and interpret site financials vs budget and scrutinise P&L
Maintain regular contact with buyers and trading assistances to develop and maintain business relationships and provide day to day management of the retail account to maximise profitable sales growth
Have good understanding and awareness of factory processes, raw material utilisation and valuationsThe working hours are Monday-Friday days paying upto £50,000 p/a although this could be negotiated and 33 days holiday entitlement, company pension and car allowance. An option of flexible working is also on offer.
